This project was started from 2014 to 2018. 

 

Description of works: This project comprises construction of a dual two-lane trunk road, including an approximately 4.8km long tunnel linking up the proposed Sha Tau Kok Road interchange and Fanling Highway interchange. A pilot tunnel is bored by Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM), followed by enlargement works conducted in traditional soft ground tunneling method.

Description of work: Reclamationof an area of about 150 hectare at the northeast of theHong Kong International Airport for development ofthe Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong KongBoundary Crossing Facilities.

This project was started from 2013 to 2015. 

 

Description of works : An emergency rescue station constructed by cut and cover method at Shek Kong. The tunnel proceeds northwards and passes beneath the Lam Tsuen Country Park towards Ngau Tam Mei. The section constructed using Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) techniques.

This project was started from 2012 to 2014. 

 

Description of work: Highways Department has developed a non-dredge reclamation for reclaiming the 150 ha artificial island for the HKBCF (including about 20 ha of land for Southern Landfall of Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Link) from the open waters off the northeast of the Hong Kong International Airport. This is the first time this new construction method is used in Hong Kong.

This project was started from 2011 to 2013. 

 

Description of works : The West Kowloon Terminus Station is a 380,000-square meter, 28 meter-deep underground terminus for the Hong Kong Section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link. Located in the heart of Kowloon, the terminus will serve as Hong Kong's international gateway to China. Over 1.7 million cubic meters of earth was excavated.
